Shinji's father left him when he was a young boy. He later received a letter from a company called NERV which is operated by his dad Genzo. Shinji finds out that his dad sent for him because he is one of the only people who can pilot an Evangelion or Eva for short. He also finds out that he must fight against huge monsters called Angels in order to save the world. But what is the Eva? NERV says its only a machine but the Eva can act on its own. ___________________________________________________________________ my rating:**** I think that Neon Gensis Evangelion is a great anime. Its funny, exciting, and violent. The only problem is the price: $30.00 for each subtitled tape and $25.00 for each dubbed tape.
