Only one man can fight these creatures of the night. Known only as "D", half Man, half Vampire, he is mankind's only hope. A young woman named Doris Lane is bitten by the vampire Count Magnus Lee. Her only hope is to hire "D" before she becomes the Count's unwilling bride. "D" must now fight Lee's army of demons to save Doris, the small village which she is from, and the honor of Lee's own daughter. My Review *** Vampire Hunter D is a nice anime with good animation and Vampiric violence. The only problem is: who ever heard of a vampire that can be killed by swords and knives? Also who ever heard of vampire ancestral worship. If you like "D" you probably would like the upcoming sequel (use the link below). BACK
